Debt collector

Hi guys, well i've been thinking about getting a better job since Im waaay underpaid where im working now.

Been here for like 8 months but i feel kinda useless in here:feelssadman: its like if they where paying me for browsing the web/watching movies all day long..
At first it was cool but now im getting tired of that plus i feel like i could get more money just due the fact that i know how to speak english.

Today i found that this place its hiring people as debt collectors, The pay its fucking good!! i mean i would be getting twice of what im getting payed right now plus commission:eek:. Of course, i would only call people from the USA. So i want to ask you: how do you americans handle this type of calls?, are you guys rude with debt collectors?

Reason why im asking its because here in Mexico, people tend to be VERY RUDE towards debt collectors:lol:(not me im always cool with most people), and well i just wanna know whats gonna be like since it would be the first time i would be working as a collector.

You know, i just want to get an idea of what its like. Also if anyone has experience regarding this type of work please give me some tips!! i would really appreciate that:heart:.

It's probably pretty shitty work. People cus you out all day, feed you lies or don't answer your calls.


Commission is going to end up being right close to zero I would imagine.

When someone forces you to come knock on their door to collect debt, you need to show up with their gutted pets in your hands.

It adds urgency.

Call centers are very stressful. I would do both if you can or keep the easy job and trade crypto or stocks while you do it. Then keep applying for better jobs.

You really think you'll talk someone into paying their past due debt and get commission? Can you try it to see if you're any good at it?

Take your dick and put it in a vice, tighten it as much as you can. Then grab a 3 pound mini sledge and hit yourself in the head over and over and over for 8 hours a day 40 hours a week 52 weeks a year.
I would look for something else.
