Chlorociboria indoor fruting - because why not * 3

In February as I was riding my bike through the woods I saw this stuff:

   


With no fruiting body visible it took me a bit to find out they are Chlorociboria sp. But I wanted to also see the fruiting bodies, so I took them home. I've read in a study that high levels of glucose may stimulate their effects on wood, so I've watered them constantly with a bit sugary water. Someday I noticed a bit of hairy mold growing on one piece of wood. My bike chain degreaser was the closest thing to grab. Looks like a little drop did the job :grin:



After one month:


               





Meanwhile the cups got a lot bigger and flatter, but I haven't photographed them unfortunately. Right now they have seen water first time in more than a week. I'm curios if they grow back big and healthy.
