Yeah... I don't think one guy is enough to declare war. We aren't in the dark ages anymore. There is no way to take Putin out. So we have to deal with him and stand our ground. He wants Syria. Fucking give it to him. The Russians love to own global real estate, but their size makes them mortgage poor. Also, their army gets strentched out thinner and thinner and increasing logistical costs. The wider you are spread out, the easier it is to peirce in. Simple physics. Simple war strategy. Blitzkrieg.

Yeah, appeasement has always worked great for crazy leaders in the past...

And Russia has one of the biggest land forces in the world. We will not "spread them thin" enough to make for an easy war. Either way, war with Russia would involve nuclear hell fire, or nothing at all. Not petty land engagements. Their land military size would be irrelevant.

Enlil, you were provided reputable sources that said the majority of Syrians favor Assad such as The Guardian.  I'd like to see you provide an equally reputable source saying the majority of Syrians don't favor Assad, since you're being a smart ass.  :popcorn:

It's mixed though.  I've provided many reputable sources saying it wasn't necessarily Russia.  The question is, do you believe everything the US Government tells you, or do you want evidence?
