Getting duplicate encrypted messages

I often (30-50% of the time) get the same encrypted message twice. Is it something on the sender's side, or what?

Does it only happen with one particular sender? Or have you noticed it with multiple different senders?

Has this always happened since you started using secure PMs, or is it a new problem?

It happens with many senders. I suspect that maybe somehow people click "send" twice. Today I got three same messages.

It's been going on for a while, not sure if from the start. I didn't get that many messages at the start.

Hmm, okay thank you for the additional information, I think you're right that people are clicking "send" multiple times but it shouldn't be stalling long enough that they feel compelled to do so. I'll see if I can track down the cause of the slowness, or at least add a workaround (ie. disabling the send button after it's been clicked).

It might just be people instinctively double clicking the 'send' button? If so reducing any slowness may not eliminate the issue.

Yeah I didn't encounter any slowness during my testing, even for very long messages, but I changed the behavior so the button is disabled on submission which should help if people are double-clicking. Please let me know if this continues to be a problem.
