What is the longest you have ever gone without showering/bathing?  I liked reading about the character in Game of Thrones in the books about the guy that never would and he was known by a nickname.

I have gone awhile whithout it with a shower 20 feet from me.  When you don't have to work, get fucked up, and take a bender on whatever substance, it really doesn't bother me. 

It is like your sense of smell just gets used to it.  If you are not around people and just indulge in electronics for awhile why does it matter?

Probably about 2-1/2 weeks. But that's from being camped out in nature.

The kind of dirty I feel if I don't shower and sit around festering is way worse to me than out in nature, working out, or doing manual labor.

I guess that's just me.:shrug:

I also don't mind my body odor after vigorous activity. When I'm just sitting around and dirty it kinda disgusts me.

There's starving kids in Africa and that's why I feel guilty if I don't shower everyday.

IDK the exact amount of time, but ive gone multiple months without showering before I went to rehab.

Like maybe a week when I was unemployed.

After the unemployment checks stopped coming, and I didn't have to go to meetings.

Honestly. I'd have to say at least three months, and very likely four or five months. I don't really like showering, and rarely shower more than once a week. Even then, i really only rinse off, and scrub my pits and parts with soap. I love jumping in natural water though and do that every chance i get really. I think the last time i did that though, was October. One would call me a grimer, i suppose.:shrug:

Also, thundermuscle, i do agree with you that festering stagnant grossness is way worse than active sweatiness. I've gotta move, or i get itchy. Sitting around greasy produces an i dont know what to happen to the skin, but i don't like it.

:shrug: It's not so much about pwnage as it is correcting one's incorrect assumption.  It is true that I went 45 days without a shower, but no one asked me why; they simply assumed it was due to mental illness.




FYI: I was an E-4 when I ETSd.
