Medicinal/gourmet species that you can grow with monotub/SGFC layout?

I want to start growing some bags of gormet/medicinals (Reishi, Lions mane and  Shiitake) but don't have the money to set up a greenhouse yet. So my question is which species I can use the same fruiting chambers as for monotub/SGFC?

Reishi would be ur best bet in a mono. Lions mane needs to be in blocks and shitake grows on logs.

Psilocybe mushrooms are medicinal too. Theyre just listed as a drug, but definatly have medicinal properties. Theyre studying using lsd/psilocybin as ptsd treatment. And im sure it has other mental health benefits, but also comes with risk of making the problem worse.

I was planning to make bag blocks first of all of them and then fruit the blocks in a mono or sgfc depending on which is best for which or if it's even worth it.
Im well aware of that too =) that's why i want to use the gear i already have.:wink:

Id do the reishi in bags.

Lm n shiitake can grow in a sgfc but you want a gentle breeze specially with lm so set up a fan n dial your conditions.

No for reishi bags make perfect fcs. Just set and forget after spawning.

When youre ready to harvest just cut the bag. This method only works
if you're aiming for antlers though

The conks just wont form that well. If you let
it conk through the filter patch it can make a decent bracket. Bags are best
for antlers if you want conks id go for buckets with holes or tubs. Bod has
grown some nice conks in tubs

I kind of want to experiment and try to grow shiitake in a shotgun/monotub design. It might work if there is plenty of fresh air going through.
