Personal experience would likely cloud the objectivity of the study.

Well, I hear you, but at the bottom of it, this is a "cloudy" subject. After all, it's not a chemical analysis.
It's a survey of people's strictly subjective experiences. How do you process the data? Especially if you
don't know first hand what they mean? And secondly, how much do people actually understand their
experiences?

People have been trying to understand topics like this for thousands of years, which I would classify as occultic knowledge. The more we  try to understand it the farther we grow from it. Perhaps the Kogi Mama's were right? Will we eventually understand so much that we loose connection to the mystic? As a professional Mycologist with a degree in Chemistry sometimes I draw the line and just go with instinct, as somethings just cannot be understood.

However I do see the influence psychedelic and entheogenic substances have on people throughout many cultures, and see how one could want to collect data as a tool or reference to market to people on a deep level. After all most people I know who use these substances are living a life in which they are trying to break free from commercialism which could be dangerous for the greedy capitalist corporations who want nothing  more than to have you hooked as a lifetime consumer.

Hi everyone!

Just want to let you know that we're closing this survey so that we can begin analyzing the data. To all of the individuals who completed the survey, thank you so much- we hope that you found it to be a valuable and interesting experience. I'll be sure to post the study results in here once they are made publicly available.

With gratitude, Hopkins Psychedelic Research Team
