if i'm out for 30 minutes a day i get burned, it accumulates over time
it's not something you should be trying to do
i went to college specifically not to get back problems, carpal tunnel and skin cancer

im white but i think i have some native american indians in my family tree somewhere. so many hundreds of years being in america, bound to see a native american from time to time. discrimination of color!

My dad is Native American mixed with European.  He looks kind of Mexican.

My mom is European.  I look white as shit.  I can get some good color if I spend enough time outdoors.  I'm pale as fuck right now.

Do u wear sunscreen? If u wear a light sunscreen, like 20-30SPF, u should tan up some. I would think :shrug:

I think u need more sun. Ive seen white dudes tan, but they live in the tropics for long periods and thus get tanned up.

Pale isn't bad. I'm pale too. My mom has olive skin and my best friend is literally the tannest redhead I know, so sometimes I get jealous. I've been tan before - I've done indoor tanning, spray tans, you name it - it won't turn you orange, but the tanning booths are horrible for you and the spray tans are...messy. Not worth it.


The only time I've gotten really deep dark tans was when I burnt to a crisp on fishing and dive boats in the Florida and Caribbean sun on a few occasions and then turned brown.


If you want a healthy glow though maybe try red light therapy? I hear it gives you a nice glow(it's UV free and doesn't make you tanner, but might increase circulation) and makes you feel good..which is mostly why I used to enjoy tanning in beds on occasion.
