Instant Hangover, Jet-Lag, Sunburn Cure through IV.

So there's these clinics that have been opening up around here. They offer a fast IV treatment to get rid of anything from hangovers to sunburns instantly trough IV hydration.

There have been a few recently opened up that just deal with hangovers from drinking.

So what do you guys think about this?

I just saw some interviews on the local news saying you feel completely refreshed and new. There were no negative interviews. :shrug:

Best cure for my hangover is a some weed, a caffeinated drink, and then a solid meal.

seems hard to believe. being dehydrated isn't the only thing that makes you feel bad when you have a hangover. likewise, sunburns aren't going to instantly heal just because you're hydrated. your skin is actually burned. the only thing this is a cure for is being dehydrated, but maybe people are so used to being dehydrated that it still feels very refreshing.

Dehydration is still the main cause of why you feel like shit tho.

Very interesting. I'd be down to try this. People always say to chug water when you're hungover but it doesn't work for me. I have to drink like ten glasses and in many cases doing that makes me feel even worse. :scat:

I'm the same way BS. I can drink water, smoke weed, and eat food. I still feel like shit. I think I'm going to try it out tomorrow morning.

I just called the "clinic" by my place. It's only $25. I don't have fear of needles so I just want to see how well it works (if it works at all) for me.

Drinking water has always worked for me when I have dehydration headaches. Sounds like BS to me personally. I think the placebo effect is supposed to be more pronounced with a needle than say a pill.

If it can help even a little with a nasty hangover, I'm on board. I'll take a hundred maximum-strength placebo pills, please!

I get sunburnt on a pretty frequent basis living where I do, and fishing as much as I do. Of course you get dehydrated being out in the sun all day. I don't really see it as a sunburn cure tho. I'm just really interested in the hangover aspect of it.

Best thing to do is just prevent it from happening altogether.. I usually ended my nights of drinking by chugging water just before bed time. Years of drinking and I only have a handful of mornings of something you might classify as a 'hangover'.

In my case this would just make things worse as I have a severe phobia of needles and often pass out or come within seconds of passing out.

Yea a couple shots of any 80 proof liquor usually takes care of it, but then I want to keep drinking. Which I do.

I rather be injected with hydration lol. I can't wait to see what it's like tomorrow.
