this is going to sound crazy but for me, i tend to feel better after i get up and get moving.
lots of water helps too, as does a little smokey smokey or of course.. more alcohol. but that sort of mentality usually turns people into alcoholics.

Something about my body always gives me hangovers. It takes about 6 drinks within an hour to get me drunk. Anything over 6 drinks, no matter over what period of time and I will have a hangover. A typical night out at the bars ends up with me having 10-15 shots/beers over the course of 4-5 hours, so I've had my fair share of hangovers.
In my quest to find the best avoidance/cure, I have found the following:
Avoidance: - Eat a big meal, preferably high in protein, before drinking - Eat something of a decent size, like a sandwich, before going to bed. The more bred the better - Drink so much water you feel like you're going to explode. Literally that much water. Then, if you can, let that feeling pass and do it again. - Take a good multi vitamin before going to bed. A vitamin that is high in B complex vitamins is great.
Cures(with little/no avoidance stuff): -Water, water, and more water. -Take a multivitamin -Although it's bad for you liver after drinking, ibuprofen helps -An energy drink (Monster's are my choice)... most are high in vitamin content too. -Some hardcore cardio exerecise that makes you sweat. Although not cardio, weight lifting will do it too. You need to sweat, that key. Go play tennis in 90 degree heat while adorned in black trashbags. Drink lots of water during and after though. -Eat a good meal. -If it's bad enough to throw up, do it, you will feel better -Don't drink more alcohol, that's only a temp fix. Once that alcohol wears off, you'll feel even worse. -The absolute best cure, although it's not always an option: wake up, drink water till you feel like you're going to explode, and go back to bed. Sleep it off.

a few shots of whiskey. Bad whiskey like old crow. If it doesn't cure your hangover and ensue another alcohol filled night of debauchery then you will atleast puke and get rid of everything in your system making you feel like crap. Atleast thats what I do and no matter the outcome I always feel better.

I just like to drink V8... Multivitamins, water. I try to feel healthy. Puking can help.
Friends tell me the grease from mcdonalds will soak up the alcohol but I never felt like any on the day after.

if it's a hangover from liquor, have a glass of whatever you were drinking last night. it'll fix it quick. otherwise the raw eggs + tobasco sauce, with a bit of dry gin, works wonders. it's not that hard to down either.

Not to get one in the first place. I recommend eating heavily between the last beer and bedtime.

Drink a couple tall glasses of water before you fall asleep for the night. Hydrating your body before sleep will help a lot, believe me.

But it will not fill your stomach, and you will still have that queeesy feeling in there.
You need to eat before going to bed.
