My wife and I will be seeing them in the next couple weeks. I'm excited... I think it's going to be a blast. Our hotel is only a couple blocks from the venue so we can get trashed and not have to worry about shit. We are even playing with the idea of eating some mdma after the show.

Why eat MDMA after the show instead of during?


Getting wasted drunk and taking MDMA doesn't mix though. Just do one or the other.


But, at a tenacious D show, I think alcohol is a better choice than ecstasy.

Tenacious D was probably one of the first bands to blend music and comedy, and they did a great job IMO.

They have a lot of really funny songs with good messages as well as some rocking tunes.

City hall is probably my favorite:

Ah man thats awesome.  I didn't even know they where still around.  I remember listening to their songs 16 years ago, and they definitely were different.  A lot off their songs were really good and really funny. They could most definitely jam out and having ya laugh at the same time.

They were the first band I really enjoyed that played that comedy type music.  Weird Al was ok when I was a younging but Tenacious D had their own style and own songs they mixed together well.

Amish paradise was ok I guess.

Oh shit theirs a bear! Would you hand me that shotgun and also that chair.
