yah thats how they really fuck u n end up owning ur car then ur really screwed if u need it to get to work to pay for goddamn tows and whatever else u got towed for. this is why u need to make alot of money or u get screwed over hardcore in america. always have rainy day savings and dont shoot cocaine kids :sadyes:

Were your documents still in your car? Did they take it to the tow yard over by MLK or the one off Pulaski?

Nah. TBH, I can't confirm the personal info docs were IN the car, I might've already moved them out and re-lost them in a storage bin somewhere.

I did have a leather portfolio with some pretty worthless project outlines/processes that they left, but stole the nice leather portfolio I kept them in - they did also leave the car registration in my glove compartment which was nice because I needed it to get a locksmith to cut/program a new key.

And neither! They found it a few blocks of Temple's medical campus and took it to a little towyard that I think only deals with stolen/abandoned cars in/around west hunting park and nicetown. They were cash only, but actually pretty nice and polite as far as Philly tow yards go :lol:. I got a 15 dollar discount because my car was stolen instead of abandoned :thumbup:

and yah, I'm honestly just kind of trying to move back to center city and ditch the car thing totally for now, I could live comfortably in a one bedroom on my own if I find a similar position that's not in the nonprofit world - even living in a tiny studio on my current salary was less stressful than living on the outskirts in a huge house now where I feel all disconnected from the rest of the city and have roommates who(bless their hearts) have lives that are basically shitty Lifetime movie plots.

Lol that video is perfect.

Sorry to hear about your situation but I hope everything works out for you. My friend lives in Mt Vernon and uses the free circulator everyday to and from work and loves it. I'm not sure if I could ever make the switch and give up having a whip but I can attest to the advantages of not having to find parking when ever I hangout and go to shows with him. That is definitely a huge plus.

BTW Purity Ring is fucking awesome. Been meaning to catch them next time they come around.
