go get it out of you, hunt the shit out of them fields.. there are also lots of active's that grow in woods, plus alot of good ediables. what im trying to say is a mushroom club, normally doesnt go to pastures to hunt actives, imagine the field day the police would have, we would be all over the news.lol...

going on somebodys private field is trespassing, and if u do, u dont want to bring a party, bloods talking about hitting some woods. cow fields r pretty much boring, cubes, cyan. more cube, more cyans, same old shit,

Here, in Sweden, you have access to all land...  how nice is that? You can go anywhere you like.

"in Sweden you'll never see a No Trespassing sign. Instead, there's an open invitation to use the land, and that includes private property. As Linda Anderson explains, it's all part of Sweden's heritage of access to the countryside."

this, is amazing. :sunny:

i think everyone who is interested in spreading knowledge about fungi should attend.

as soon as my i get my work schedule cleaned up i will be able to dedicate a lot more time to this.
for now, i'm thinking the best time to meetup might be on a friday evening.
we can decide on a hunt date then.
i can keep everyone updated on the weather through fb.

If Florida was like that I'd be in largemouth bass and mushroom heaven! Very cool that Sweden has such a policy.

Have fun on the first hunt of the GMS, friends! Find something badass :awesomenod:

Mycological societies usually don't hunt actives.  Commiting a felony in front of a group of people is a bad idea.

If you think mushrooms don't taste good you aren't cooking them right.

Is the Gainesville Myco. Society still meeting and/or having forays?  I recently moved here and have found myself intrigued with the many unique varieties of fungus around here.  Let me know if anyone is meeting up for a foray!
