I eat meat, a more reasonable and realistic goal for balancing the problems that come with eating meat (pollution / inhuman treatment of animals in factory farms) than veganism, would be to reduce consumption. We'll eventually have to reduce consumption like it or not, unless we start eating eachother which Im not necessarily opposed to, there's a looming fresh water shortage and deserttification has been uneasily rapid, we'll be facing difficulties feeding everyone no matter how effecient we become.

Think about the starving to death people in Africa. Are you seriously going to walk up to basically a living skeleton starving to death African man in Africa, and say, "No! You can't eat meat!" That man just starved to death now.

People in Africa are STARVING to death. They would be very happy to be able to eat any meat at all. Meat is more expensive too than vegetables but it gives you more energy, more protein, and will give you more strength, and will keep you alive longer preventing you from starving to death longer than eating vegetables will.

There is way more than enough food in This world to feed all of Africa and stop everyone there from starving to death, but greed prevents the starving to death people to get that food. Greed of money. Greed kills more people than bullets in modern day. Millions more.

I'm not asking for your opinion. When I'm asking you if it's really more efficient after you claimed that it is I'm obviously expecting some evidence to back that claim up.

Dude I thought about reducing my meat consumption but then I remembered bacon. Not gonna happen lol.
But seriously, Those problems are not inherent to eating meat, besides the obvious, that you have to kill an animal to turn it into meat, it doesn't really have to be the way it is now.
Yes the meat industry is fucked up. So is pretty much any other industry. You're not going to fix shit by only focusing on meat.

I eat meat as a treat.

Like, once or twice a month.

Mostly chicken. And bacon doesn't taste bad either.

Poor pigs. Chickens are dinosaurs, just minis.

I can't wait until we convert to eating grasshoppers. You get like 9x more protein per acre than beef.
