What's up trip tippies, I'm going to be extending my stay here in trip tips and you'll see me here quite frequently, as I'm a new mod here.
That said, I have a great trip tip, for my first day with a little 'm' here:
I tripped today, went to the desert museum, but came back and watched a film that changed my life. It's called Baraka. It has no narration, just images, many fast-motion scenes, with an AMAZING score. Such an experience, I was awed, I was shocked, I was in tears, I was horrified, I was amused, all by watching how other people live.
It's such a cultural eye-opener, really makes you aware of your place in society, and aware of how the most different people from you could live. You see the pain inside their eyes, you see the depression, you see the beauty, the innocence, the fear, the pleasure, the happiness...
It's the best documentary on human culture I've ever seen.
SEE IT. It will change your life, tripping or not.

is it a pretty rare video? i'm gonna go check out my local video shops in a bit so i was just wondering what my chances of finding it, or getting weird looks from employees might be.

If they have a good documentary section, they'll have it.
It was made in 2001. Blockbuster didn't have it, but the local shop did, so that's your best bet.

Baraka must lose some of its impact on a computer screen with kazaa quality. Go rent the DVD, watch it on a nice set-up, its amazing.
