Look dont think about dessicant. Youve already ruined the potency by putting them in the fridje, putting them wet in a dessicant chamber will make you loose more potency. Do not handle/cut/do anything to your fuckin shrooms but put them under a fan. After aboutt 3 days when their dry you can put them in a dessicant chamber so they will be cracker dry. Great flush, but you fucked up a few good shrooms by being over cautious. EAT THEM BADS DUDES and chill

I have just made a nice omelette(I know I must not spelling it correctly but it is this thing with the eggs and the tomato) but no effects yet.Let's seeeeeeeee........

Here's a good way to dry them. Leave them in this rack for several days or until quite dry. Use the crystals to finish them.

Go to a craft shop. Purchase silica gel flower drying crystals. Do NOT set the shrooms directly onto the crystals. The crystals can be reused many times. They should come with instructions for recharging.

If completely dry they will stay good for a long time if kept cool and dry.

WHAT?! These mushrooms do not look normal to me. Is there any sort of odd smell coming from the mushrooms? I've never seen magic mushrooms bruise green like that.

I've had either a contam, or a rotting shroom cause this problem in an invitro jar, the mushrooms did not smell right when picked, and when torn open(not cut with knife)they were green, noticably green, not blue-green. Needless to say, they were trashed. I would not eat anything that was green if it's not supposed to be.

Man Its cool just dry them I promise its NOT a contamn. How is a mushroom going to contamn after its been picked? All it can do is rot. Heating mushrooms(like in a omlette) also ruins potency and can can ruin it completely

::Yesterday night I saw my shrooms and they were just great perfect color and almost ready to pick:: but ::today morning:: they had this black color everywere which I suppose is normal because of the spores but what I don't think is normal is that the cross-section of the stem is DARK green and I don't know if that is contamination.

Wheres anno?? I have personally ate about 35 grams fresh of mutant shrooms that when you cut them open they were green and had yellow stripes on the stems. I tripped hard and did not get sick at all. Shrooms cannot grow with a contamn inside them. I gaurentee That the shrooms he has are good as long as theres not any green mold growing on the shrooms. A green color is nothing to worry about.

Suit yourself, I'm sure it's completly possible the shrooms were fine. But mine, were not. They were green inside, the texture was not right, the cap was not firm, it was very mushy, and the gills seemed to be deteriorating. And if I came upon a shroom like that, I wouldn't even think ONCE about checking on the internet to see if it was ok before I threw them the FUCK out. So maybe their cool.

From my own experience, I've found that getting the drying process going ASAP is essential, otherwise rotting can set in pretty quickly. I try to pick them just as the veil has torn, and immediately place under the fan for 48 hours, and then into the dessicant chamber (apart from whatever I've decided to eat fresh, of course). I', not an expert, but aren't we looking at bluing in those picks, nothing too out of the ordinary? The black on the caps of some, though, is that rot? That's what it looks like to me, blackening around the edges.

The black thing was spores that were transfered everywere because I did not cut them quickly enough and the green color was just bruising.That comes from an expert mycologist. The effect was great,very nice trip.It was just that the appearance was a little bit frightening.You can store the shrooms 2-3 days in the fridge and they are allright but if you want to keep them for a long time you dry them good and then put them in the freezer.

BlackZombie I suggest you read the conversation from the beginning.

Experience combined with knowledge is the key to success and this is why I am reading a book about shrooms right now.It was a great flush for my first time anyway.
