I got suuuuper high on weed during the game and kinda was in a dream-state for the second half.
I do remember the Cavs being up by 1 point with a few minutes left, then GS just went up by 8 or something.

Dude, if the Warriors just keep that core together of Durant/Steph/Klay/Green together (am I forgetting anybody?)...barring significant injuries, the rest of the NBA may as well close shop.

Golden State may very well take the next 3, 4, or even 5 titles.

That's highly unlikely just because of the industry that is the NBA,
but you're absolutely right. No contest against the Warriors currently.
And most likely not next year either.

When are the current starters open to Free Agency under contract?

Just looked it up

Kevin Durant has a player option for next season, which I'm sure he'll exercise. Then he's a free agent.

Klay Thompson is signed through the 2018-2019 season. Will be a free agent in 2019-2020.

Draymond Green is signed through 2019-2020. Will be a FA in 2020-2021.

Steph Curry is a free agent...after this season? Didn't realize that. Was just reading that he's looking at somewhere in the neighborhood of a 200 million dollar contract.

Word is Durant has already informed management that he's willing to take less to keep the core intact.

They'll lose role players for sure, but according to the articles I just read they have a plan in place to keep Curry & Durant, and Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are already locked in long term. As long at they keep this core, they could just about sign motherfuckers right here off the pub as role players and still be favored to win the title :lol:

Could u imaige pirate blues and koods coming off the bench for them and still winning?
Hell put sheekle as head coach.

They are stacked to the tip. Best team ever IMO

Wow! Management for GS did their homework, eh?

That's a hell of a long-term plan they were able to pull off.
Not to say that this run was guaranteed, but predictable to say the least with the addition of KD.

So, is it time we all just start watching Euro League for some real competition next year? lol

Yeah if they manage to do it, then...watching the NBA could get pretty fucking meaningless for a while for any fan who is a fan of a team other than the Warriors. I mean I guess if the Spurs or the Cavs were able to somehow add another legitimate superstar player to their current rosters -- then maybe that could give the Warriors some real competition. Waaaayyyyy easier said than done, though.

Back in 2012 management decided to keep Steph Curry and let go of Monta Ellis who seemed more talented as well as adored by fans. Some people actually booed them for it. Now those fans should be sucking them off for that move as they make a fortune selling their season tickets to hipsters in the tech industry.

The Warriors bench is deep as fuck though. Not sure why you are acting like it isn't.

Not saying it isn't. I'm saying it doesn't matter. If your core is Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green -- then you could have the worst worst bench in the league and you'll still be the overwhelming favorite to win it all.

Yes but it is a long season an it is hard to stay healthy. Durant went down for a while at the end of the season and didn't really slow things down much. Either way it is not the first star studded cast built during our recent era of the NBA. Lakers, Spurs, Heat, etc. At this point the NBA has become an if you can't beat em join environment to get a ship.
