for those who have trouble finding 1/2 pint jars

a store called "world market" has wide mouth 1/ pints that can be bought individually for 88 cents each (kinda steep, but they are individuals)

its a store with weird yuppie house decor and a cookware/kitchenware store and as far as i know its a north american chain

You can buy 1/2 pint jars all over the internet, just do a search. They are the same price that you would buy them in a store, but just have to pay for the shipping.

i like to order as little as possible off the net, i dont like to wait on shipping and i like to pay cash so that i dont have to balance my check book(lazy).

personally there are plenty of places to find jars in my area... this was simply a tip for those who have not been able to find appropriate jars in their area because i see the threads pop up here and there where people cant find wide mouth's

i couldnt find widemouth jars anywhere in my city so i bought 10 jars of welch's grape jelly and dumped em out

Just use small glasses and foil as lids,thats all i did and had no problems at all.6 glasses for $2.00
