2c-i may cuase excessive hppd.

i tripped 5-6 times on 2cb in combination with dpt 5-meo-dmt and shrooms in the course of two weeks and i get pretty severe hppd for about 2 months afterwards. at the time i thought it was just a co-incidence, but two other poeple said although they don't normally get hppd afterwards, they got it for up to a week after taking 2c-i.

just so ya know.

Get over yourself. You just had a little too much. In fact I dont think you sound as if your cut out for substance abuse. You'd be best sticking with inhalants or cutting off your air supply. May well suit you better.

wow what a bunch of fucks, like i never tripped before, and like its normal to continously see colors and geometric patterns for 2 months afterwards with about 6 hours a day and 1 day a week for semi-normalicy.

i'm just saying, i've binged in the past and not had this happen, then i add the 2c-i and suddenly its quite strong. then other poeple i know tell me similar things happened to them.

fuckers, maybe you should binge yourself and we can compare notes.

grr ,you make me so angry, like i wasn't just trying to be helpful and let poeple know that some things DO have consequences.

TrueKimbo2, don't worry man it seems like you just tripped yourself the fuck out from that binge. Don't let it get to you man.. it's happened to all of us. It isn't permanent, time eases all things. When I tripped my ass off last summer, the peak of it all was taking 8 woodrose seeds in conjunction with Syrian Rue (WOW) and after that I didn't feel the same. It just takes time man, you can't expect to do that kind of intense tripping routine and have no consequences.

You better be taking Vitamin B12 for that shit man, and I'd ease up on the weed for a while personally, just to get back in touch with your shit. Don't worry dude it's just some temporary shit.

... no i don't mind it actually, i mean i understand how it works.
also, by hppd i just meant that when the hallucingen is out of your body, and you persistantly percieve psychedelic hallucinaions, that could be considered hppd.

HPPD should never change, once it hits it perm.. no goin back, or is that a step back anyways? :wink:

i know and discussed with a small fraction of people who i considered true hppd'rs, that their visuals did end up fading... but these few case's should be takin lightly, of course since our brain put us in hppd, it can take us back out.. but i know people hppd 30+ years with no change in symptom, and tho it maybe possible, its better to think hppd wont go away so that its easier to 'Accept', as your new norm.(so thoes very few case's arent even worth mentioning in the end, each of them had symptoms seperate from hppd as well, like black and white visuals instead of colorful for example)

please elaborate your experience, do your visuals decline, or do u just stop obsessing and they go away? Persisting visuals like that that one day fade, is almost unexplainable, and given your  psychdelic history(which should be vast mixxing the substances you say) you know what your talking about but have run out of answers.. and choose to look here for help, that means your doing a bit of obsessing and 'looking'.

in other words if their comes a time where your acctully 'hppd free' and stable, then you for sure dont have hppd, but probley a bit fucked in the head from psychonaut adventures and are still docking at bay.. i try not to spit much on hppd here so im being very cryptic hehe

2C-I, will dont cause hppd more then any other psychdelic, HPPD depends on the brain of the individual, not just the drug your throwing in it, LSD is king for hppd, cause its the most commonly used psychdelic,well was anyway.

also once your rendered in the hppd world, psychdelics should have no effect on it, unless you listen to DR. abrahm the guy who coined the term HPPD, but he dosent really know the first thing about psychdelics, he just knows what we can tell him.. he has strict no psychdelics including pot lines that are just foolish, tho i guess thats a good thing to say in the end.

oh no no, i'm not saying its like clinical hppd. i'm just saying that my normal everyday consciousness now seems to include what my friend calls 3 1/2d effect. like i see things normally, but superimposed, or inside of them depending on how you think of it, i see colors and shapes, i look closely at these colors and shapes they form normal trip visuals (melting geometric shapes ect.)

also, mentally i haven't gone back to normal. some of the more personal tripping things i get (increased awarenes i'll call it) just are natural 24/7.

i'd never had this happened before, its not at all like lsd where you feel off base, it just feels like i have a new base.

and i'm only suggesting it was the 2c-i because two other poeple i know whom have rather small psychedelic experiance, and have never had visual after effects from trips had after effects for up to 2 weeks.

also, its now occuring to me to add that i attempted to alter my mind and my body by storing psychedelic energy inside of it during several of these trips.... whoops, forgot that part.

oh yeah, and i noticed on erowid someone who was familar with psychic stuff and psychedelics saying 2c-i caused shutdown of his phsyic facilities for a week (or was it two?) after his trips that he didn't get with other things. could just be a co-incidence

The thing about these 2c compounds is that there is no active history - there isnt say 40 years of constant use to sort of examine and see - whereas with mushrooms we have thousands of years to look at...
So you never know if there is some type of problem with these kinds of things until some poor prick finds it...

Thats true of course but did we find a drug which can have bad long term consequences if used in moderation?
I have only one example in mind, and I dont remember the name of the substance. I must say I didnt search to find more tho :wink:
