Acacia berlandieri: source for DMT & mescaline.. wtf

I just found a document claiming that the Acacia family is home to a whole array of weird and wonderful psychoactive substances, including DMT, 5-meo-dmt, mescaline, phenethylamines, nicotine and NMT.

Does anyone have any particular tek's that could be used to extract mescaline from Acacia berlandieri?

Is this feasable? I had a quick glance but couldn't find anything.

Also, say for instance you could supposedly 'extract' these phenethylamines from Acacia berlandieri, is there like some kind of process (warning: I'm a total science n00b) where you can add bromide, chloro or iodised compounds to turn them into say, 2ci, 2ce etc...?

Just a curious Q for all you science geeks out there (read: teragon :crazy:)

Bark has 0.36% dmt.

yeah i've probably seen that.

There's an acacia in argentina that has 0.8% DMT alkaloids! :wow:

But do you know anything about the mescaline in the bark? Or is it some gay kind of inactive weird stupidf psuedo-mescaline?

Noone has been able to reproduce the results they had with the berlandieri extraction. If they have there has been no mention of it anywhere. May have been a false positive.
Stick to the well known Acacias.

The ones on far left, right and very middle small pot are Berlandieri 4 years ago. They are tough trees, almost survive on neglect. Never attempted extraction.
