Can't sleep, got the Universe on my mind * 2

You know when you're tired but your mind decides it's the perfect time to contemplate every single aspect of the universe :facepalm:
Currently my mind wants to break down and analyse the word Universe to see if there is any hidden meanings or 'secrets'.

So what better place to do it than here :lol:

Firstly lets consider the word Uni. When Uni is spelt out, it becomes 'You and I'. For this first part we will use this to try and find anything pertaining to what we (you and I) are.

Now we will look at verse. There are two (more actually) slightly different definitions and we will analyse one at a time.

1. "A succession of metrical feet written, printed, or orally composed as one line; one of the lines of a poem."

So in a way, verse can mean One.

U N I - verse
You and I - One
Universe = We are one.

Alternatively, it could mean that You and I are but one line of a much larger poem or song.

2. "The collective poetry of an author, period, nation, etc."

We (you and I) are the collective creations of one single author (god?).

Often secrets are hidden beneath layers and metaphors so we need to dig a little deeper.
Let us consider the following synonyms of 'verse' and how they might relate to the Universe. We will focus on the words in bold and contemplate their possible meaning / relation.

Epic - "Noting or pertaining to a long poetic composition, usually centered upon a hero, in which a series of great achievements or events is narrated in elevated style."

Our lives can be described as a series of achievements and events. The narrator, like most stories, is not the same person as the hero. Are we the hero's of our lives or are we the narrators of our lives?

Lay - "To cause to be in a particular state or condition"

This could refer to a particular state of consciousness, 'enlightenment' perhaps? Or maybe the state psychedelics take us to?

Lyric - "Expressing spontaneous, direct feeling"

It is through direct feeling, both physical and emotional, that we are able to navigate and experience this world.

Ode -  "A combining form meaning 'way' or 'road'”

Perhaps referring to the spiritual 'path' or the journey of life.

Rhyme - "Identity in sound of some part, especially the end, of words or lines of verse."

It is through language (mainly sound) that we are able to communicate with each other, enabling us to learn and grow but also to create our own 'identity' (ego).

Rune - "An aphorism, poem, or saying with mystical meaning or for use in casting a spell."

To spell a word is to break it down into its individual letters, which is what we are doing here, in an attempt to discover any possible hidden mystical meanings.

Ughh... I am absolutely terrible for this. I am always researching Cosmology, Fractal Geometry, Quantum Mechanics, Particle Physics and on and fuckin on.... I can put the book away, but i'll be awake for a couple more hours contemplating what I've read, doing thought experiments, bit of math involved, make a hypothesis at times..... and so forth. The beauty of nature outshines any Earthly gods. :mushroom2:
