As long as you don't stick em in a plastic bag or seal em up in any way, they'll be fine. They need oxygenation (I hope that word means wajht i think it means)

so I can stick them in a bag but leave it open? I was also thinking of picking them on Tues. and letting them sit in front of a fan 'til Wed, could I put them in a bg then? It would look a little suspicious if Johnny Law pulled me over and there were a bunch of 'shrooms sitting out.

You have a couple of options. You can pick your shrooms, put them in a paper bag, and into the fridge. This will let them last up to a week fresh. Or, you could put them in front of a fan for a day or two. If you cut the larger ones lengthwise, you should be able to get them almost completely dried within 2 days. After 1 day of fanning, you can put them into a dessicant chamber to complete the drying.
