Re: Is there anyone in Utah?.... [Re: Papaver]

Ok, I've been doing a little research and getting up to speed, since this thread went horribly awry. Sadly, it seems the Echos thread had gone awry too...

scott2004bc, settle down! Think about what you're going to say, and make posts which contribute to the discussion. Also, check your spelling and grammar. Please, show respect for the others in the thread, by putting some effort into your posts. You are welcome in The Pub, but your posting style must fit in as well. Currently, your posting style is a tad sloppy...

And, to everyone else, be a little nicer. This is The Pub!

Live Long and Prosper...

PS: And, yes, I know I basically used the same post twice in two different threads, but I'm too tired to make up a whole new post to cover this...

I am sorry about my bad spelling in my other posts... (papaver) I will not post kid like behavior in my posts from now on. We are all lucky to have a web site that helps us with information about certain kinds of mushrooms and other items like that. I am happy to hear about the shroomery, It was first introduced to me from one of my friends about a month ago. Before then I didn't even know this site even existed.
I am sorry that I offended anyone...
Oh, BTW... Utah is a real nice place to live, the moutains and views are some of the best around. I am sure there are better, but I would miss camping out and hiking...I love nature!

Thanks!

PS: I lived in Southwestern Idaho for many years, and although I never spent much time in Utah, I know from my friends that Utah has some great skiing and rock-climbing!

Whew...  I'm glad I missed all that drama...

Anyway, I live in the good ol' land of Og...  It's alright here, although we have crap for alcohol, strippers, entertainment, you know, fun stuff.

Awesome scenery though...  I like to hike on the mountains not far from my house, the view at teh top is really rewarding, I'd like to try it in an "enhanced" state one of these days, mabey this summer....

Anyway, here's a view from the canyon not far from my house, like a 5 minute drive.  At the end of the canyon is a dam surrounded by miles of forest with just a few campgrounds, recreations spots, very nice in the summer months.

I know about what area you live in..I am currently living in layton, I used to live in clearfield a few years ago but i had to move back to Layton because of job problems and bills.
I like to go on hikes near there...have you ever heard of "Buses" Trailhead? it is near 46th street and Harrison..it is one of the newest ones around...it is one of my favorites cause you can go way way in there and the views are really nice...I go hiking when it is warm all the time..or I go to Canyons near where I live....

Not the trailhead, but me and my girlie friend go to  Buse's pond and feed the ducks and eat Jake's Over the Top burgers and shakes.   I rarely hike (I did for a bit in the summer) but I usually went to the trailhead at the top of 29th... I think...  above Ogden high somewhere by the mountain.   I think this one now ties into the 46th st. trailhead.

I'm not sure exactly where 'Buses' pond is, but I am sure it is near it..cool...yes the 29th trailhead..I know excatly where that is..yes it does connect to that one as well...I think that is waterfall'.. if I remember right. That one only goes up so far, to the waterfall..there is a trail that leads past it but it is tricky and is steep..that is why I like buses better...Wow not bad, I am amazed to see someone else in here that lives kind of close to me... I like going on hikes, it helps me get away and enjoy the scenry, besides it is a good excuse to smoke some herb and drink a few beers, but not too many, I wouldn't want to fall off the trail! I want to go up hiking this spring and trip on some cid or some shrooms! That would be intence!
