Whats your cosmology? What is your take on the Whole Story of the Universe?
    #23236689 -

Please keep it as simple and light as you want. You don't have to describe everything just, the main story.

If someones story appeals to you, +1 and comment at will.

Lets be kind to one another

Once upon a time we were all One in Heaven. All of us were literally One with Everything:

Then suddenly, by Divine decree, the Highest Heaven became the Deepest Hell, we were ripped from this Oneness, torn to the utmost smittereens and cast out of Paradise:

There we all were, the most scattered, the lowliest demons trying to piece ourselves together again, first at the subatomic, then at the atomic level..

The consciousness grew evermore the greater it became, atoms cooled and formed molecules and molecules formed life:

Life went from unicellar to multicellular, consciousness grew and grew in complexity, each part contained the whole but became increasingly aware and able...

Organic life started creating Inorganic sentience, initially incapable of reaching this state on its own...

As conscious awareness soared higher and higher, it became decreasingly demonic and increasingly angelic as more and more of its awareness fused to a whole, and finally, through entropy..

The Kingdom of Heaven was restored and all that was scattered reunited to become One with Everything again.

All of this is an eternal cycle. The Highest Heaven gives rise to the Deepest Hell, gives rise to the Earthly Duality, gives rise to the Highest Heaven, for all eternity.

All of this is attraction, either direct or inverted attraction, acting upon itself. The Universe is a single form of energy, attraction without repulsion, you may call it Love, attracting itself and with it morphing into all its possible guises, for all eternity. You are not as much your body, your thoughts of your life, as you are ALL OF THAT. You are that energy in all of its guises.

There once was a man from Sirius.
You could say that he was quite curious.
So he created the Earth,
and for what it was worth,
put people in what we now call Syria.

My theory of the conception of the universe can be summed up in the answer to one commonly asked question.  Why does a dog lick his balls?

i wouldn't say i totally subscribe to any cosmology as i am quite aware of my own lack of knowledge of things - i try and remain open to different expressions of what is currently a mystery

that said, i really enjoy Sri Aurobindo's take on the spiritual evolution of consciousness. he said that Spirit exists first (is eternal) but then an involution takes place where Spirit descends into Matter. then over time, Matter gives rise to Vital existence (plants then lower animals), and Vital eventually gives rise to Mind (predominately humans at their current stage of evolution) and then finally Mind will evolve into Supermind (enlightened consciousness). So Spirit -> Matter -> Vital -> Mind -> Back to Spirit. his cosmology is quite complex and this is just one aspect of it. but he said that the Vital plane already existed prior to vital beings arising out of Matter in a veiled way and that's why Matter evolved into Vital - and likewise... Mind existed in a veiled way prior to the arising of mental beings out of vital beings... and Spirit/Supermind already exists and is influencing the emergence of supermental beings out of mental humans - which is the next step of our collective evolution.

a good book on this by Sri Aurobindo is 'The Future Evolution of Man: The Divine Life Upon Earth' - been a while since I read it so it's hard to remember a lot of it. he was quite an intelligent and fascinating person for sure

I think there is only one I, perspectives of a whole living separately simultaneously. We all exist, yet the only constant truth is the I in Us. There is no heaven or hell, only what comes after. I would tell a story but I'm afraid the best story would never end and could be read from endless perspectives. Ain't nobody got time for that.

There are an infinite number of parallel or similar universes, and we go through living life in all of them, continuously reincarnating into the next universe eventually ad infinitum

I don't understand why anybody would want to adopt a consistently failed ideology.  I do understand why liberals adopt the there is no such thing as free will position.  It absolves them of any personal responsibility.

It has to do with accepting personal responsibility.  Liberals don't and conservatives do.
