Kitch, I've recently also decided that L has stopped being useful for me and I was curious to hear why you think it doesn't suit your needs anymore.

I used to go to a lot of music festivals and I found that LSD was much more of a party psychedelic than mushrooms. When I took mushrooms at a music festival it was definitely not a party psychedelic. Obviously it's all about set and setting. L can be much more than a party drug..

Mushrooms are much more serious imo. Even though L can be a very intense psychedelic I think mushrooms can produce a more spiritual experience (and DMT). That is what I'm after these days. That, and organic substances only..

Unfotunately, due to health issues, I have really had to slow my roll with droogz. I do plan on taking mushrooms for therapeutic/health/spiritual benefits in the near future. I don't think L would help as much with that.. I have also said goodbye to MDMA.

Sometimes these things just happen. A realization that something just doesn't work for you anymore. I got the message from L so I'm hanging up the phone..MDMA is not required to dance. Had fun with that and also realized it's time to hang that one up..

I, too, have found L to be a party psychedelic while tripping weekly. My theory on it though is that that's partially due to having done L interspersed with shrooms/DMT so I feel like L's phenethylamine effects were emphasized due to some tryptamine tolerance (psychological and possibly physical tolerance). Unfortunately, this has also come with jaw tension and other stimulant effects which turn me off to L.

I have also felt like I've learned L's message and that simply makes the psychological effects of L a burden because I already feel like I get it, if that makes sense. I think I'll probably only take L again if I combine it with another psychedelic/dissociative (to emphasize/alter the trip) or with an empathogen/2cb-type substance/benzo/opiate (to reduce the psychological effects and emphasize the party/chill vibe).

On the topic of MDMA, I took it on it's own (well, with bumps of K, but small doses) for the first time on Friday, after having done it only once before with L a couple years ago. I didn't enjoy the MDMA much on it's own and I think I'd only do it again if I combine it with a psychedelic/2cb-type substance.
