Grow Log - Enthnobotanicals * 1
    #23109029 -

Hello everyone! I am growing many psychoactive plants at the moment that I received last week. I've had all of them for over a week apart from my Trichocereus Cacti (most probably pachanoi or kk340)
which I purchased yesterday (from this original post).

This will be my growlog. These pics were from a few days ago (cacti from yesterday) from the date of beginning this thread. Please follow this thread if anyone is interested in the grow!

These 2 are my Wild Dagga plants! The bushier one will grow orange petals and the taller but less bushy one will grow white petals. Both strains produce sedation, altered state of consciousness and effects similar but distinct and usually more mild than cannabis.

Both are Acacia Maidenii. Will eventually grow into trees 5-20 metres tall. Contains aprox 0.3% DMT and 0.3% NMT in dry material on an average A. Maidenii plant.

Coleus Blumbei. I have the one with purple and the green with white strains. Meant to be the son of salvia divinorum according to non-confirmed historic records. Have smoked a tiny quantity with effects most probably placebo. Have to wait for it to grow and try various of ROA's to confirm its psycho-activity.

Sun Opener. Meant to be used by Aztec's for hallucinogenic purposes. Apparently regarded as sacred as Psilocybin Mushrooms. A few reports on erowid documenting psychoactive effects including; muscle relaxation, severe muscle pain (from in correct method of preparing tea), darkening of colours, enhanced memory recall, sound distortion, bluish yellow tint to vision. Mild OEV's. This plant most likely has deliriant properties in high doses though high doses are not recommended as the muscle pain can be excruciating and even painful to breathe. Effects vary from user and class of drug is unknown. Most likely a sedative and hallucinogen in high doses.

Calea Zachetachichi. This plant makes dreams more vivid, easier to remember and can increase ability to astral project and lucid dream. A few reports in erowid indicate that in very high doses, going to sleep and waking up that there are very trippy dissociative-like experiences. This plant is unfortunately wilting and drooping.. I transplanted this plant in a big pot today.

Finally.. My cactus. Not certain what species it is but will find out when it grows more.

I will be updated with any major change. Follow this thread for updates on my pics and occasional experiences with these plants.

EDIT: Grammar mistakes fixed.

Did you recently have those all indoors and then move them out?
Also,I would repot them all into much bigger containers, and lay back off the watering.
Hope this didn't offend you,I'm just trying to help you out:cool:

yeah man it's all good. Thanks for the tips!

EDIT: I did receive them over a week ago in a tightly closed box. I have left them outside, trying to give them the most sun possible and never brought them back inside.

I recently repotted my unhealthy Calea plant! We will call this plant "Dream" as a nickname. Any tips, please let me know.

I don't know why calea does this, but for whatever reason it tends to drop leaves for little reason. Sometimes the nodes come back to live and other times they don't. It's a very weird plant. I would suggest taking cuttings in a week or so and keeping it in water until you see inch long roots.
I think the trick to getting a healthy calea is just to take as many cuttings as possible, sit back and just let nature take it's course.

From the one time i grew it it needs alot of water. And your soil seems a bit dry. Give it a good soak and report back.

I've been watering it a little bit around every 2 days.. I should water it a lot more. I made a tea from about 2 leaves today with some wild dagga leaves.. Nothing too noticeable apart from relaxation and possibly mild euphoria. I'll need to grow these plants a lot more obviously for the psychoactive effects.

How often do you recommend me watering this Calea plant?
