The music ends at 2:05. I like the host, hes chill and really nice.

But Its the guest, not the host, you should pay attention to. The host doesn't really say anything, he just introduces the guests.

Heres another excerpt that explains why I chose 2C-C:

" Laying in bed, I can say that very few times in my life have I ever felt more comfortable. It was so rewarding, being so tired, to feel so physically amazing. Just complete comfort throughout my body with an almost opiate-like glow to my muscles and skeleton. I closed my eyes and relaxed to the music. It sounded GREAT. I found the chillest tunes I could find and it was like being on the beach at the height of your vacation with a cold drink, only on a feather bed. I began to think of my wife and daughter, and how much I loved them. My daughter's stuffed lion was still on our bed from her early morning and it became symbolic of her. I snuggled with it like a child and it was so reassuring and comfortable and relaxed that I shed a few tears of joy. It was a truly wonderful mental state. Even though I was tired, I couldn't fall asleep, but I laid there listening to music for two hours or so just feeling blissed out and relaxed. "

A true psychedelic that is often described as opiate or benzo like in its relaxation- sounds good to me!

Right now he is just asserting a regurgitation of Terence McKenna's stoned ape theory without providing any evidence.

"They" call it the spirit molecule?

No, Rick Strassman wrote a book called the spirit molecule. That doesn't mean "they" call it the spirit molecule.

Many people call it the spirit molecule after Strassman popularized the term. Those people can certainly be called "they".

The dude is from an African Shaman perspective, he is not and doesn't claim to be a scientist, so don't expect him to be citing studies or providing scientific evidence for anything he says, that is not what hes about.

Hes coming from a full blown shamanic perspective, hes not claiming to be a doctor or scientist nor does he feel he depends on those authorities for his knowledge, which comes from traditional sources, personal experience and the plant psychedelics and spirits themselves (that is how he sees it).

African Shaman my ass, the dude read a bunch of popculture books familiar to anyone who is very interested in psychedelics and is giving poorly worded summaries of supposed connections between them

Fair enough, your obviously entitled to your opinion, and yes, much/most of what he says was familiar to me, but wouldn't be to many listeners.

Personally I enjoyed the hell out of it, and found it super interesting.

I am looking forward to listening to part 2 today.

Do you normally listen to podcasts?

If so which ones do you enjoy?

I would like to hear your overall summary if you finish the entire podcast. Listening to the second one now but its mostly listener calls so not really worth it .

I will say that listening to this guys second episode, I feel like this is an awesome guy. Baba Kalindi, the guest.

He is my kind of people and the way he sees the world has massive overlap with how I see it. I would love to smoke a joint with him and hang out with him.

I think he is doing awesome work and has an awesome message.

He runs workshops teaching people how to grow mushrooms.

Love the dude.

I love that kind of stuff. Its exactly what I am interested in right now.

Feeling amazing. This is an new phase of my life.

No longer dependent on kratom , and renewing my spiritual and psychedelic path.

Did a big meditation and ceremony today, a big Hanuman ceremony and meditation, and cleansed my self and my whole home with safe and prayers to prepare for the psychedelic journeys to  come.
