can't you just dvr that it and watch it when u get back?
if u dont have a DVR im sure u could torrent it afterwards....

i mean yea, you won't be able to go to any parties or anything but at least u can watch the game.

Nah.. That's definitely not the point here.
The game itself is usually secondary to the social event.

I mean, I'm a big football fan, so I really dig the game itself, but for most people, it's like I said.

ya its for the social aspect

I have talked to her and tried to arrange multiple different meeting times. She has an excuse for each one. Some for sleeping in, another she is visiting home, and another is that she has work

Im sure she works hard and all. But the idea that she cannot move her schedule 2 hours is unbeleivable to me as she has changed her excuse for the superbowl timeblock too many times to count

I just told my other team members that I would finish my part on my own. I am waiting on the"beauty sleep" lady to talk to her boss. But I refuse to give up the super bowl at this point. Simply unreasonable

Dude I just don't stress over it. The reality is; this woman can't get married. If she does, her relationship will be dysfunctional. Karma evens things out for me. Noone can operate with this level of stupidity and irrationaly. If my wife pulled this shit I would divorce her on the spot

Well I apolgize but I must maintain the formalities of the project group to do that. I WILL bitch her out on a participation sheet and say she was unaccomodative. as well as discuss this with professor regardless of whether I miss out on the super bowl or not. And by the time she finds out, it will be spring break and her report card will have come out. So I couldn't care less

The cards are stacked up against her. I am good looking, well dressed, particpate, do the readings and show up on time. The other two members like me and see her time restrictions as problematic. They will mark her down. I sure as hell will

yea every super bowl party i've gone to i end up talking to people more than actually watching the game.
i kind of prefer just watching it alone to be honest lol...

i like hearing the announcers and stuff, total football nerd here :cool:

So heres a basic summary

last week; she asked if I would be free over the weekend, for this project. I said yes, but check in with me about the date and time

She ended up setting a time from 4-6pm sunday which cali time is superbowl. I commented on that group chat that this was unreasonable. And she said that I would just have to "hope we finish as fast as possible :smile:". the smiley face pissed me off

she said she would try and work with me on trying other times. She ended up not being available any other times (I doubt it)

The key point here is she set up the time in the superbowl kickoff time range with no consultation on my part and assumed I was unresonable for not sticking with it and rearranging my plans.

I guess I was nice to the exchange student in the group (from arabia or something) and the other induvidual as well. And before this, I regualrly read and particpated. So based on that they both knew I was a serious student (which I am) and not a fuckboi. The other project members offered that I stay and work with them earlier in the day before superbowl kick off, and leave. This means I would only do about half the project, but to make up, and compromise, I would do some of it on my own. I also talked to the professors and they were on my side. They said that if she marked me down for participation, they would have a talk with me and make sure I did what I could

tldr; this main girl who needed her beauty sleep, lets call her "sarah" refused to change the time. She set it up with no consultation to me or any other member. Now she is still pissed at me that the other members took up my side. I have to stay in friday night to work on my part of the project and then stay for just an hour or two around 11ish or 12ish on sunday to go over it and do my part. Its a stretch, but I guess I need to sacrifice and make comprimises to my other 2 team members to be able to basically skip a project meeting

Im okay with comprimises. No skipping the super bowl

This is why I haven't had fullfilling sex in a while...women these days. Specifically college women my age. Its like I am talking to entitled brats..
