Ive found the secret to consistently vivid dreams

Every morning for the past weeks ive been have consistently-vivid dreams. and its awesome! Complex ever evolving stories of strangr creativity and off-the-wall fantasies (last nite, i was racing go carts up a vertical race track).

Heres the secret:

Go to bed late after a long day. Say around 12:30AM.

My girlfriend works early, and wakes up at 5AM. I wake up too from here getting ready. Then i go back to bed.

I quickly fall asleep again, and have the most vivid dreams right before i wake up around 9AM to 10AM. Incrediblely vivid and creative dreams.


i cant imagine taking dream herb with too, would be insane! :eek:

Anyone else have incredibly vivid dreams? if so, whats your awake and sleep schedule?

Lets compare and contrast notes :thumbup:

Your timeline is exactly in line with the WILD method.

WAKE INDUCED LUCID DREAMING: go to sleep and set an alarm for 5 hours after you go to sleep. Then get up and move around enough that you won't forget you got up in the middle of the night. Go back to sleep and have crazy fucking dreams.

I have found that a healthy body works for me.  Probiotics especially. I  make my own Yogurts, Kefir, Breads and Beer.... must be in the yeast and cultures.  Shrooms also help, fresh cooked Lions Mane is the shiznit!  I sleep like a baby, bed by 10 up for work at 6.

Ive heard of WILD, what an appropiate name for it! :lol:

Although Lucid dreaming is different than Vivid dreams right?

But i guess Vivid dreams are the precursor to Lucid dreams?

Pretty much, the idea is 5 hours into your sleep cycle you hit REM(rapid eye movement) which is when the magic happens.

Vivid dreams definitely are the precursor. Once you have them consistently you'll be able to tell when dreams are happening then control them. Eventually you'll be able to tell when the dream is cooking up before it starts, and this is essentially where lucid dream induced astral projection happens.

Lots of people argue that astral projection in sleep isn't the real deal, i say bullshit if it's a journey in your mind what's it matter how you get there?

Last night after work i got off around 3 and decided to take a little acid before i fell asleep to see if it enhanced dreaming.

I took one hit of weak shit, i fell asleep and became god. I was elected ruler of the world, and some lady gave me 5 million steel beams. So i got on my computer and started up the god version of simcity and saw how many statues could be built with all this steel. I built 500 billion statues all in a row covering the world in perfect uniformity and laughed my ass off at how stupid it was.

I woke up probably every 30-40 minutes cracking.up laughing at shit.:lol:

Moral of the story, acid doesn't really do much in the way of lucid dreaming for me personally. But waking up to melting walls was fucking awesome.

I have always set my alarm to go of 2 hour before my official wake up time ie a 2 hour snooze, and often will have fantastic and memorable dreams for the last period of sleep! Had no idea there was a scientific foundation to it, sorta just thought I was special:wellidunno:

In my experience taking a shit ton of B6 vitamin (600-800 mg range) for three nights in a row will start to induce very vivid dreams.

You didn't discover that what you've described in the OP is a very widespread and common lucid dreaming technique.
