Made for a delicious .gif too.

actually it was because the protesters were very menacing when he tried to advance through the crowd, they started beating on his car and making him feel like he was in danger

or
Assuming this is true, none of that is illegal.
Assaulting them, however, is.
actually, if they incite imminent lawless action, it is....and Pris Micheal Brown's step father saying "burn this bitch down", i saw it, and i thought he'd be likely to be charged, if it was proven the riot occurred because of his inciting speech. but of course they didn't charge him, because what he said wasn't enough to be considered inciting imminent lawlessness. it probably should have been considered more, i think. he clearly tells them all to "burn this bitch down", which is what alot of people ended up doing...i don't see how they couldn't see the connection, and/or, if they did, then i presume it just simply wasn't "enough". in this case with 4 Chan people, it still might not be enough, it might even be considered a lesser incitement, even to me, then "burn this bitch down"....so as i can see, it's not all so cut and dry. Fred Durst got charged for inciting a riot.
and Prisoner, i still agree with most of what you said.

Well youd have to argue that their mere presence was "inciting" and i dont think thats gonna fly.
Lets be honest, nothing they did warranted the criminals reaction.

i don't think so either, i'm just glad they've been put on blast, because they went about making their point very rashly and stupidly. make an example of them, but don't send them to jail, even though, they just might be...and if the BLM protesters had no permit, then fuck em too.

Should the blm attackers be charged with assault?
Is it a hate crime since they singled them out for being white?

yes, and the idiots who perhaps (as i've heard) cheered them on should be ashamed. they should have contacted someone, anyone...the police, the press, to get the story out on THEM, as opposed to rushing at them and chasing them out. that would have been indefinitely smarter.

right, i don't. i just think they made themselves look like idiots; and look at the controversy...it's all motivated by this climate of "us against them" mentality, going straight up, out of control.
coalitions fighting for control. it's stupid. it's not getting anyone anywhere, and it's just causing stupid problems. people are supposed to be working together in America, not fighting over piddling bullshit.

I think they highlighted the racism and hypocrisy of blm and that needed to happen.
A tragic ending that benefits no one though.
Luckily there were no deaths and im sure the shooter can be thanked for that. I really dont think they wanted to kill anyone and if they are from /k/ as its rumored then they most likely are good shots and couldve aimed for center mass if they intended to kill.
I think they were just overzealous young adults who got themselves in a shitty situation and had to defend themselves.

i frankly just hope that the next time this happens it won't lead to worse endings.
but i pretty much agree with you. i'd still call them idiots. overzealous young adult idiots. doesn't mean it's permanent, however.

Ahem. Nobody was brandishing guns. That would constitute terrorism. The only time fire arms came into play was for legitimate reasons of self defense.
The protesters got trolled legally and there ain't a damn thing they can do about it.
I agree, it was a dick move.

NY should get guns in everyone's hands...that'd be great.
"hey but he touched me, boom! legal. right?"
free pass!
They didn't do any lynching because they got fucking shot.

read better.
i didn't mix up terminology. i said what i said. THEY WANTED... WANTED...to show open carry solidarity...that's why they trolled the BLM, so they could pull em out, and say "legal! completely legal!"
i'm sure they don't want to be stuck concealing their guns, i'm sure they'd rather brandish them in the open, to scare way perceived "threats", which is their whole shtick.

meh, it's my personal believe that they want there to show that "gun laws protect poor people like us from getting attacked by dindus".
they even said they went to see the 'fire rise' or in otherwords, to cause shit. they brought their guns in THAT regard. not just for safety. safety to them was an afterthought.
