guns are why it happened. these idiots WANTED to show "open carry solidarity" and that's it.

Well, the message is rather clear and simple, so yes, they were advocating for the value of life, specifically black lives.

And regardless of whether or not one agrees with them or whether or not they check out on every little list of moral perfection throughout all time does not give anyone the right to get up in their face brandishing guns. It was a dick move.

No they weren't, if they were they would be concerned with how 96% of black deaths come from the hands of black people, yet not a word, you're blind to their hypocrisy.

The man from the youtube video wasnt at the shooting and was released without charge.

The men who did shoot had their weapons concealed until they were attacked.

not at all.

it started with one thing, and the platform expanding into multiple different areas of sociological factors, to protest those things all at one time, would lead to the breakdown of the original movement, and would lead to splintering off of different movements because different people will want to join different more specific causes, and then you'll get more radicals, and more general confusion, and even less can be potentially achieved.

they did so in immensely stupid way, and the goal wasn't really 1st amendment rights, it was just a bunch of idiots trying to get a rise out of people. also there are rules you know. i as someone who's against a particular group can't just go within that group and try to start shit with them. you have space to do that, and it's not in their space; no, you have your own.

people should keep on doing it though, it'll bring the attention of these actions to big dogs, who'll, i'm sure, find that personal invasion of the space given to the group being essentially fought from within for the cause of provoking them from within their own group.

you don't do that...you start your own protest. that's how you fight for 1st amendment rights...not by trying to get a rise out of people, by going in their ranks, as an anti-supporter, and try to sow discord within the ranks of people they are essentially against. no matter how you wish to spin it, the reality is, that's being a provocateur, which is nothing to do with the 1st amendment.

They had every right to be in a public space as the other protesters. Even so, They kept their distance and even tried retreating when they were attacked.


Add to that the fact that only one of the freedom fighters opened fire when the others had guns as well.
They were practicing restraint, unlike the blm protesters.

The video shows them keeping to themselves before being approached by the mob. Do u not think they had a right to be there?

It was a dick move. That's all i wanted to say.
I'm not trying to discuss the legitimacy of the protestor's point of view,
which is, in my opinion, legitimate and understandable.

Either ya think the gunmen were out of line or ya don't.

Just because you can doesn't mean that you should. Perfect application here with the right to bear arms.

being stupid isnt a crime

and yes, it was a first amendment issue, dont the hate groups say shit to get a
rise out of people, it's protected by the first amendment, hasnt BLM said some
shit intended to provoke angry responses? again, it's apparently protected by
the first amendment too. remeber when micheal brown's step father was saying
"burn this bitch down" when he was referring to the city and was encouraging
people to riot in ferguson? probably not, but why wasnt he charged with inciting
a riot? is it because he's black and that's not politically correct?

yeah? show us those rules... maybe if BLM had gotten a protest permit they would
have had the police there to make sure nothing happened, that's what protest
permits are for, to provide police protection for the protesters

seems thenre's no video available of the protesters being harrassed, as crazy as
that sounds, and there isnt one of the protesters attacking these people, not
one of them being shot... I suspect they have video but wont release it because
it's very damning to their false claims
