Maybe with all you veggie eating plebeians. I'm a carnivore who eats vegetables because my diet dictates that I do (notice how I don't act like one extreme is a healthy way to live and start condemning all the people who torture the poor vegetables. Very few even give them housing, they just make them sit outside to be infested with bugs or deal with the heat all day long, they get even less free range space than even the worst treated animals get, they spend the majority of their life in the same 1 square feet of space until they're killed to be processed in the barbaric produce industry).

If I could honestly live a healthy life off meat alone, I would. I have no problem consuming pounds of meat everyday, I never tire of it. Meat is goddamn delicious. I even eat the marrow in the ribs.

I have to say that I do not find the premise from Jurassic park completely impossible in regards to finding dino DNA.


I couldn't say for sure that it's impossible either, but it definitely seems like a far more difficult task if the DNA used as a starting point is really fragmented and degraded.

Was just reading a magazine article about this at the psychiatrist's office yesterday. :lol:

They were talking about how they want to clone mammoths out of Asian Elephants, then set them loose in Siberia -- the postulate was that having a giant herbivore disturbing the snows would help expose the permafrost layers to the elements and serve to refreeze them.

Interesting stuff.  There was also talk about a Dutch company working on bringing back Aurochs to the plains of Europe.

BTW. it's only the african elephant that will be extinct and likely only in the
wild, there are around 50,000 asian elephants in the wild, I suspect they've not
done a census on those in captivity. it's like the rhinos, the asian rhino numbers
are growing, around 3500 now compared to around 2000 in 1990, the african rhinos
are a different story but then afria is a different culture of corruption
