can two things orbit around each other?

Not planets necessarily,  but maybe subject and object - jupiter and mars for example. I get vertigo trying to visualize this, but it would just create a circle, right?

Check out the Pluto system, you'll find it there.
What happens is that two objects that orbit eachother have a point in space that they both orbit. (I am no astronomer, I could be wrong here)

As you've asked the question, no. Orbiting is one object going around another (or more precisely, an object traveling a curved path around a certain point, such as the moon traveling around Earth, or Earth traveling around the sun). It's impossible for 2 objects to both travel around each other (or the point that just happens to be in the objects) at the same time. In a less literal sense, you could say that I guess. They develop a central point they both orbit around. If either didn't exist, neither would that point.

The earth and moon orbit each other. The center of mass is near the surface of the earth on a line directly between the two. This is also the point in space that orbits the sun. From the Suns perspective, the earth and moon wobble on a path, both of them orbiting around this point in space.

This is kind of hard to imagine because the earth and moon and very different sizes. Imagine if they had the same mass - then it becomes clear that they would revolve around a point that was exactly halfway between the two. Because of the large size difference that center of gravity shifts closer to the earth - in this case I think it is around 100 miles below the surface of the earth wherever the moon it straight above your head

All orbits are objects orbiting each other.  We only think of it as one orbiting another because the difference in mass makes the orbit of the larger body smaller than the orbit of the smaller body.

look up binary stars, yes it most definitely is possible. However those two stars orbiting each other are also in the same orbit around the galaxy, so it's all how far out in perspective you wanna go.
