no need to take that tone, koods--tho the group of cons that ran canada for the past 10 years may have been all gung ho over oil and gas, it's not so clear that this view is reflective of the canadian populace--many polls have shown that the majority view often skews towards protection of the environment instead

and even if that wasn't the case, indigenous nations across canada are refusing to grant access to pipelines and tankers on their unceeded traditional territory

these pipelines will never be finished unless the canadian gov't sends in the army to clear the land thru force and violence--and even then, these warriors will never surrender

think oka crisis--only instead of defending their past, now it's the future that's at stake

This is stunningly stupid and a flagrant lie.  Job gains during the entirety of Obama's presidency don't even keep up with population growth and labor force participation is in the toilet.  Do you know who isn't counted in unemployment figures?  People who have given up trying and people who have exhausted their benefits.

We don't need a jobs bill.  We need to get government jackboot off the necks of employers.

The only rationale for not doing Keystone is that oil prices are so low.  Do you know what would be a great jobs bill?  End the prohibition on exporting US oil.
