I love this idea. I do maybe 5 hours of work a week at my job, the rest is sitting around browsing the internet. I am not lazy, am just very proficient at my job.

Would be so much happier with a 3X12 option. And would be every bit as effective

But they're saying the 8 hour work day is too long and 6 is just as good and people will be less distracted.


I don't think anyone's going to be getting 3 12's but honestly I'd do that, sounds pretty sweet.

I think there's a fundamental misunderstanding with Americans about the way the world works. Not everything is about the boss or his company. Life is a ride not a job. A statement like that will piss off an American, but I get it. I also bet almost anything, that somehow, miraculously or not, Sweden doesn't go bankrupt, the ice thaws again, and the citizen's quality of life goes up. I haven't noticed one Swedish person griping about this, and they've been speaking English since they're in grade school.

I like working 12 hour or more shifts, more money, more days off. 5 days of 6 hour shifts would cost me more in train fair too. I feel it's waste to come in to office for just 6 hours. I would just get another part time job.
