I'm sure it wasn't the idea of Adam and Jamie, but rather the higher ups, but yeah, I could see how that'd annoy ya.

A lot of times with shit like that, they just test minor details that take place in the film.

I never got into mythbusters, but this is also the last season of Prospectors on the weather channel. I only watch the gold rush, Yukon gold, survivor, and prospectors shows. At least my dog has a good shot at popping up in the show. They're making a bad decision because next year I'm gonna find the nicest pocket ever found! It's ridiculous though how many people go up to the mountain. Some days we'd come down the mountain covered in mud and there'd be fans of the show with cameras and their proudly owned t-shirts giving us thumbs up, taking pics, and generally looking very envious of what we do and we aren't even on the show!

They should myth bust Pulp Fiction.  Quentin Tarantino is a self loathing movie nerd who would probably be very annoyed by that.  Also, I'd like to see them force one of their interns to take a shot of adrenaline to the heart.

I keep meaning to watch that show about "seng" but never do.  I tried duck dynasty but it sucked.

And here I thought being a joyless asshole is a person who wishes others would kill themselves because they don't like an episode of a TV show they did.

The Jaws episode (along with a ton of others in later seasons) came about due to their "fan site" asking them to tackle the 'myths' from the movie.
At least, that's what they say when they're opening the show.

I've never actually sought out that site to see what goes on there, but I tend to believe it exists.
So, perhaps Adam and Jamie aren't to blame 100% on that.

Plus, it's gotta be difficult coming up with new shit to do with that format.
