They'l put up 2. Trail cams will keep coming like the tide of the ocean. You have to accept the trail cams.
Scary, I know.

It's probably being used for research. Counting deer, that kind of thing. Don't mess with it.

What exactly is your concern? That the neighbors will tell your parents that you sometimes smoke a cigarette while dressing sloppily?

Yeah, hopefully the people arn't dicks and let you enjoy the forest, long as your not ravaging it.

Who don't think they are counting the number of sloppily dressed cigarette smoking people?

OP did you leave out the part you were going to tend to some huge dope plants that recently got busted or something? Because that is the only way I could see this being a bad thing....

To your question. Yes, you can remove just the SD card. Turn the camera off, remove card, put the card into a laptop, delete pics you're worried about and then replace the card and leave the camera off. Owner will think they forgot to turn it on! It happens a lot..
FYI I usually run least a couple cams in an area

Word. I could care less about what they think I'm doing back there. I'm turning 35 in a few months so don't really care about my folks "groudning" me for smoking. It's public land so I'm not sure why it's the ere. Definitely tons of deer in the area and it's a nice trail cam. Just unsettling knowing that someone will be creeping on me when I'm simply trying to kick it in the woods. This is not the type of neighborhood where yo u see someone looking like me on your trail cam and don't call the cops. I don't do anything illegal but hate most pigs hence my concern.

imo who cares it they snapped a few pictures of you
side note the trail cams I've seen use a standard sd card to store their pictures so you could go that route but it might get you into even more trouble if you were caught tampering with it (there are often more then one set up)

Around here trail cams are the norm just go back and take out the SD card bam problem solved. If you feel real nice u can even take the SD card back to the cam sans the pictures of you smoking without nice clothes on.

Yeah I'm a little confused about this too. Even if tealeaf hates cops, nobody has to worry about getting caught or anything if they aren't breaking the law.
There's gotta be more to this...and if you really are that paranoid of cops when you're doing nothing wrong, what did cops do to you to make you feel so vulnerable even when you're not breaking any laws??

I just love that every time I go in the backyard, someone is photographing me without ever needing to be there. I think it's fucked. I'm taking my old clothes and dressing up trees along the trail before the camera/cameras so they can feel they uncool vibe of feeling like someone is watching you. I'm leaving a note on the camera, decided not to mess with personal property and instead mess with their mind
