How often do you go to concerts alone?

Well looks like my friends have to go to work the night of this concert I have been planning to go to for awhile now. It's fine, I'm just going to go see another show with her some other time soon. Point is I have a ticket and don't wanna miss this show.

Do you go to concerts by yourselves a lot? I've gone to the club and to a few concerts here and there alone. I've only found it fun a few times :shrug: the two times I found it fun was when I ended up passing joints with some dudes for a bit and then this other time when I did Ecstasy with some random girls and made out with them. Other then that it's always been kind of lame just standing there by yourself with no one to talk with or enjoy the show with. I always am burdened with trying to find people to talk with at said concert and it can be incredibly awkward trying to by pass the formalities and getting comfortable with them.

Anyway I just wanna know what is the best way to enjoy a concert alone and how people just do that

I go to shows alone often. I enjoy the music and the musicianship.

Edm shows I could see being a lot different though.

Went to a couple hardcore shows alone. It was cool cause I could just chill in the pit.

Are you there for the music or to socialize? I enjoy going out to venues more by myself then with a group. It allows me to meet new people if I want or just

sit the fuck back and enjoy the music without having to entertain other people.

I go with groups but usually end up splitting off and socializing with the smokers out on the patio, just need to hit that level of drunk where you are absolutely fearless on approaching a group of strangers and hope you don't get your ass kicked :smile:

I spend 75% of my time at least mingling with strangers at concerts though, only time I get to fuck with people as weird and wasted as me, makes for some interesting conversations.

I'd say 90% of the shows I go to I go to alone. I've always enjoyed it. Sometimes I'll mingle with people. sometimes I'll keep to myself and enjoy the show. sometimes I'll wonder if the girl in front of me would like to dance with me. I still enjoy them. I have 3 upcoming concerts that I plan on going to by myself right now

Well I didn't end up going alone.....

My friend and her brother ended up being able to come and we met up and rolled and had a bomb ass time.

The show was balls to the wall and it was a blast
