I got an extra concert ticket to sell on ebay

I don't support scalping and normally don't do this but it can't hurt to make some money now that I got an extra in demand ticket.

My question is- what is the best method for success when selling on ebay?

The concert is in May, should I sell closer to the concert date or would earlier like this or next month be a smarter idea?

Or is it completely random and there are no right ways to sell my ticket.

sell it closer to the concert date, or post it up on craigslist.com thats always free and local so you dont have to ship it or anything

Last year I sold Cochella tickets on ebay. It's really a toss up to whether you will get more $ selling it closer to the date or not.

I would sell it fairly close, maybe a week or two before, just have enough time to send it off. Within the month will work.
