You will likely never get 100% out of 10/10 pain with any dose of opiates in the theraputic range.  The amount that you would need to take would have you unconscious, which is actually somewhat dangerous so doctors tend to avoid that if possible.  Different people respond to different drugs differently, It is always advisable to take your medicine as prescribed.

Codeine is especially dangerous at higher doses.  If you take too much codeine trying to get high or get out of pain you could end up having seizures rather than passing out.  I won't give dosage advice here but here's some info.  This isn't even taking into account all the Tylenol or other toxic drugs they love to throw in the mix.

I -- at first -- chose to defend what I said in my first post with a reply to your above-quoted text (because of my belief that I did not do anything wrong and / or bad and was not sharing misinformation and / or dangerous information).

However -- after I finished posting my reply to your above-quoted reply -- I decided to just delete both of my posts instead, because -- instead of sticking to defending what I said in both my first post as well as my original reply to your quoted post above -- I felt it was a better choice to just delete all of what I said and let your beliefs remain in this thread and not share my own beliefs and / or self-professed knowledge.

Anyway -- I think that it's a great thing that you shared with me and everybody else in the thread what you believed of my post / reply to have been dangerous (and inaccurate) information.  I certainly never intend to spread misinformation / inaccurate information -- and / or -- dangerous information.  In any case -- better safe than sorry, I believe!
