you mean 25i as in nbomes?

That's probably more to do with why your body feels so shitty. That stuff is really toxic.

Yea. The other night, after a swell day working on me bears in the backyard, listening to music, enjoying a little bit of a 25i, a cruz through town on the cycle, on the way home

I crahsed into another cyclist head on. BAM!  OUCH OUCH OUCH!  Was a dark spot on the bike path. I was on sugar rush from soda pop.  He I think been drinking a little. Say so, because of how none hurt he was. While I was laying on ground, knees and hands, figuring me pain, thought for a second I busted out much of my front teeth because of having bitten me tongue so hard and the numbnest that comes along with biting the tongue, me teeth felt as if been chipped off, along with the taste of blood.


So, I going 16mph, give or take, vice.versa, see someone headed right towards me on the same line riding. I swerve right, he swerves same direction. I then swerve left, he does, again swerve same direction. Right when we hit, I let my body fly off the bike, no use holding on, damn momentum. He hit his front wheel on my right foot and the forks bent aas far back as can. My thigh hit his handle bars causing those to bend in at nearly a ninety degree angle and leaving me with sore lower thigh.


  His shoulder rammed me center right chest, now soar to touch and sternum hurts to hiccup, burp, or cough. My chin hit his head, but before me chin hit his head, the impact caused my tongue to flr forward in mouth, then, as me chin hit his head, I snap down on me tongue real good.

Good enough to make think busted out me front grill and later when drank water, the water burning like all hell.  My body flew off the bicycle onto the grass along sidewalk and landed on my right side. I quickly roll onto my arms and knees feeling some of the worst pain ever felt in me life.

The person that hit me was up on feet, leaning over my should asking if I was alright before I could even question so.  Anxiety on the false lose teeth scenario tricked me way far out.  My teeth were there.  My ankle hurt incredibly bad.  Asked about me bicycle.  The bicycle was fine.

Had to losen front brakes for untrue wheel that be of easy fix.  His bike it totaled.  Handle bars bent far in wrong direction.  Wheel and forks both way out of order.  He had to call for ride. I pedaled home grunting the whole way.  Hurt bad.  Real bad.

Got home and find a golfball size lump on me right ankle.  I take five aspirin and pass out hoping the night to heal me battered body. Wake up and find pain still there. Grab the crushes and spend the next four hours at hospital to find out me foot not broken. Hi.5 to that. Me jaw not bite food correctly without a sharp pain in ear. All in all, I will heal. A set back for sure. Started doing more yoga and running, excercise, longboarded that day for first tims in a while.  Then, BAM!  Hold ye horse. Bummer.

Careful out there. I still haven't done any hard riding due to a crash 2 years ago that knocked the feeling out of my entire upper right thigh for several months, still haven't got all the feeling back. 

Lesson learned, don't let someone else adjust the tightness of you're chain, WORK ON YOUR OWN BIKE, unless of course you're a customer of my shop, in which case, I got you covered! I am very proud to say that I'm quite sure I've never improperly performed service on a bike that directly caused a crash... 

All the same, be careful out there, if you ride in traffic wear a helmet, MOST everything but your noggin will be ok generally, head injuries are ugly.  Cars are everywhere, and most of them whether they realize it or not hate cyclists, unfortunately I occasionally(more often lately it seems) have customers with stories of people possibly hitting them on purpose.  If you do get hit, get the plate number, as these people sometimes don't bother to even stop and see if you're still alive.  A friend of mine got plowed into by a car(side swiped would be a better word) s few months back, they stopped, he was friendly, didn't ask for insurance or anything(can't stand people who are on the trigger just waiting to sue someone) insurance got ahold of him, paid him and his girlfriend(also side swiped in same incident) $5000 each plus paid for their $200 bikes in exchange for signing a release.  On a side note, they so coulda spent that money on cooler bikes than the new ones they picked out....to each his own...
They were very lucky and didn't have serious injuries(a term thats relative depending on which cyclist crowd you run in), but all the same, be safe, don't hesitate to dive off and get outta the way of things, anythings usually better than impact with a moving car.
