No they aren`t always! But there are a few that are pretty clear.Maybe you should check out 3mshrooms.That looks like one of his.Those babies are loaded! More important is the results.

That syringe isn't one of 3mushrooms, it is a home-made syringe.. probably with a few decent prints held within. Most vendors sell syringes that are usually clear, but since they are made in a sterile enviroment (under a flow hood etc).. they can be more effective than more "powerful" syringes made at home in a semi-sterile enviroment. Just thought i'd make that point. vivid

Just for the record when I said that looked like one of 3m`s I was referring more to the color than the actual syringe itself.

For the record mine are made in an airflow cabinet in a dedicated lab in sterile conditions------------------

That syringe looks like it has several prints in it, vastly increasing the chance of contamination and a good example of overkill!------------------

Depending on the strain it could be one print. Both the gulf coast and the B+ make syringes that look like that.
The beauty of a really heavy sporeload is that even if you do have a few nasties, there are so many spores germinating that they simply overwhelm the contam.------------------

nice. thats what a syringe should look like. the cake will colonize so fast you wouldnt know what to do with it. contamination would be the least of your worries if you use these one of these and if you want to be conservative all you have to do is put one drop on the cake. im going to have to check you out 3mshroom. ------------------

I wouldn't recomend it either Max but the mycellium creates it's own antibiotics. If you have a massive flush of spores germinating they can overpower just about anything that might have survived in your jars before it get's a chance to really grow. The other bonus of a heavy spore count is you get a more complete genetic makeup and faster colonization. Or you can be stingy with your spore water and innoculate more jars with less fluid per jar.
As a rule I get about 24 jars from a single 12cc syringe give or take a jar or 2. ------------------
