The Cure rules - so why did Robert do this?

So my new roommate gave me a bunch of free cds and one of them happened to be the new Blink 182 cd. I don't own a single Blink cd but I figured I'd give them a try. I never got past track 5 in the past 3 days but this morning I just ended up going past it. I get to this one song and I REALLY end up liking it. The vocals were different, really fucking good, really fucking familiar!!

After guessing it was Robert Smith and then saying "no, he'd never..." I had to grab the booklet and see the proof written on the back ... it was infact Robert Smith on a Blink 182 cd.

Is it okay to be so terribly disturbed by this?

The new Cure isn't as good as the old Cure. I guess they're getting worse still.
