Seriously though. Lately I've been making basic hot dogs and I love them.

Red onions at the bottom, mayo on top of it, ketchup on top of the mayo and by the time I'm done preping the sausage is cooked so I take it from the BBQ and put it in the bun on top of the condiments.

99% of the world put the sausage in first and then all the condiments on top... I hate it cause I easy to spill or stain your shirt. When the sausage in on top it seals everything between it and the bun and therefore no mess.

Toasting the bun is what makes a hot dog good on a bun (especially if it's not a very good quality bun.) If I had to pick one condiment it would be a spicy mustard.

It's not bad on some things but it needs to stay away from hotdogs. Some people absolutely hate mayo

How to make a hotdog on a bun better:

Remove the hotdog.
Remove the bun.
Place in trash can or give to homeless person.

I live in a free country where I'm free to think outside the box of ketchup and mustard. It's called trying new things and it is delicious. I'll put mayo on my hot dog, peanut butter if I want to. There ain't a thing you can do about it.

i like lots of mustard, and it tends to drip out onto my shirt.

so i put some mustard on the bun, with a little ketchup on top, and some extra mustard on the side for dipping

mmm... now i want a hot dog.

Relish, mustard, onion, pickle, tomato, sport peppers and celery salt

All beef frank served on a poppy seed bun

This is a superdawg, probably best in the city. They make their own dogs too

I could do with that minus the relish and add some cheese and chilli not that canned chilli but chilli with beans like home made. Poppy seed buns are the shit. :awesomenod:
