LGBT rights are the civil rights of this generation. I call any minority who expects equal rights but wants to deny them to the LGBT community a hypocrite.

:lol: I actually recently found myself fantasizing about a particular trans woman with whom I am acquainted, that was like a whole new level of :gaystapo:

She was actually another shroomery trans woman, but she was a secret trans woman, nobody knew. I probably shouldn't even mention it but I just think it's so cool that she pulled that off, she passes 100%. She actually helped me start on training my voice. She doesn't post around here anymore though, the transphobia got to be too much for her even though it wasn't directed at her. A shame really, she was really nice. She was a lesbian too though. Between her, another secret trans woman I know of, and Macey, and Rose, and me, I find it curious that the trans lesbian community is so well represented here at the Shroomery. AFAIK most trans women are hetero, and most of the trans communities online are pretty damn hetero, so we're probably just drawn to the weirdness.

My GF and I are both gold star lesbians. :themoreyouknow:

Hating gay people is something that people learn to do. It's not natural and it's ridiculous to anticipate that a kid would grow up homophobic with gay parents, unless they were really shitty parents. But as many have noted, sexual orientation is not linked to quality of parenting.
