Missed Paintball D-Day

I missed an event this month for a D-Day reinactment at a local paintball feild. Its badass they have a mock beach on a 200ft sandy hill that goes up to a treeline. Every year at least 300 people show up.

Anyway just thought Id throw up my Tippmann 98 to accompany this thread, lemme know what ya think!

I personnally custom made the wood grips and wooden top rail.
The stock was bought on ebay I think.
Thats a handy red dot sight and a 14" flatline barrel.

sucks you missed it...def woulda been fun. when i first started playing paintball when i was like 12 i got a tippmann 98 custom and ended up with 3 of them at one point, all modded out, but still semi-auto....then i realized woodsball was a lot of luck and not a lot of skill so i stopped playing and started strictly playing airball


i sold all of my tippmans (most reliable gun ever and easiest to work on/fix yourself) and got 2 autocockers....a black magic and an ebladed prostock. i fucking killed it in airball, i sold my guns last year and got a 60% return on what i paid for them like 10 years ago but damn that eblade was finicky as fuck. if you didnt have everything perfect it would either not shoot cause the eye wouldnt let it or it would chop balls like no tomorrow


this is my shit - all shooting semi auto guns too

I saw a paintball Dday reenactment on some documentary and it looked like a ton -of fun. They got really technical with the re-creation and had boats that crossed to the "shore" with bunkers up on hills and the whole charade. It was a 2 day event in a southern US state IRC. Pretty dope stuff.

I have never been paint balling though. It's something I think I could really get into if I ever tried it.

happened to find some pics of my old babies

'03 WGP Black Magic Autococker with - evil detonator reg, delrin bolt, wgp 2 piece barrel and on/off drop forward



'04 WGP Prostock with - E1 Eclipse E-Blade w/ eye, all delrin bolt, palmers pursuit shop custom regs. this gun would cycle at 35bps but would chop balls cause i didnt have a hopper that could feed fast enough and my eye was a little faulty. but i could shoot it at 20bps no problems just ropes of paint :evil:




the trigger pull is magnetic and ~1mm or less
