its so true though. like even if you do have a fling with a co-worker and it goes well for a while, you have to think what happens when it all falls to shit? things can get real nasty and it often pretty much leads to one person leaving the organisation. asif you would want to have to go see your ex everyday and be unable to avoid them. and particularly considering how narky women can get too. it has red flag written all over it.

i got caught up in it myself about a year and a half ago at work not knowing any better and it was an absolute nightmare. luckily i got promoted out of the department and she ended up leaving the business 6 months later, but still. i've turned down every co-worker after that experience. and not to float my own boat but i have alot of options where i work too, but its not worth it. i dont want to have to deal with shit like that while at work

obviously OP fucked up, but im talking about a larger problem at hand. Cant tell you how often I see a good looking dude holler at a chick and its all good because hes cute, but a guy who society deems ugly does the same hollering and they are pervert disgusting creep cat callers. Its bullshit. Woman shouldnt have double standards based on what a man looks like. Ugly people have the right to try to get laid too, dont get pissed and "grossed out" when they spit game like she implied earlier in the thread.

Ditto. I also don't chase after everything with a hole that passes by I'm kind of selective about women. I think that helps. I also take good care of myself. Wouldn't complain about my gene pool either besides some recessive mental disorders. So it really be both.

I kind of agree with you solely on the reason that if I say "no shes fat i dont want to fuck her" I'm labeled a dick and a pig with no soul. There are biological reasons fat people are not attractive. society doesn't want to acknowledge the fact that we are animals. hormone driven animals no matter how smart we pretend to be

yeah but its not about attractive or unattractive. its more about whether the girl likes you or not. anyone who tries to creep a girl who doesn't like them isn't going to get a good response. obviously the attractive guy is probably going to be more well received in general. but theres a time and a place kind of thing

another thing to consider is that if you get file noted for shit like this, it may be mentioned to future employers through your references too... which can have flow on effects for your career... you gotta be careful with work stuff dude if your looking at building any kind of career. your reputation is everything. do not jeopardize your professional reputation in any way at all costs. i cant stress this enough

Everything has smoothed out and I appear to be all good. My boss indirectly apologized for being a dick.
Moral of the story kids:
Don't try to date coworkers
Don't flirt with prepubescent psychopaths
And keep work and your personal life separate
Also be careful who you trust some people are two faced pieces of shit

its a sad thing to realise, but you cant really trust your co-workers. they're your colleagues not you're friends. you'll see how quickly things change once someone gets fired. or how quickly people can change and start conspiring against you to get you fired and shit. have to keep people them all at arms distance and manage your relationships so as to not cause problems for yourself or make waves. working is shit man. you don't realise how petty and imbecilic the general public is untill you're forced to work with them
