Some larger mushrooms I was hoping to get an I'd for.

Habitat: wood chips over soil on frolf course path
bruising:none
gills:purple

Habitat:leafy covered soil directly off walking path.
bruising: none
White gills:

Stropharia rugosoannulata for the first, and the second is a Tricholoma, I think.

I've heard of the stropharia before.is there anything special about them?

nice anyone know if the other one is edible? how would you cook the stropharia?

I cook my Stropharia many different ways,but he easiest is just to saute them in butter :thumbup:

stem and all? stem seems like it could be chewy but maybe its got all the flavor idk lol
