I believe these are "Wine Caps" please correct me if I am wrong. They were found growing from horse manure after heavy rains.
The caps are spotted because these specimens were infested with insects. Perhaps if I can find some younger ones I?ll try to clone one.

I can see them even after I emptied my browser cache. Is there something I should do to fix them?
Thanks

Nice find, man!
Too bad they're all insect-infested. I found some of these a while back, but I was not aware of their edibility at the time, so I didn't eat any of them. Wish I would've now that I have learned more about them, though!
Peace,
RebelSteve

if the spores are purple black and not brown than it is fairly safe to assume that this is Stropharia rugoso-anulata. you said it was growing ON the dung. although i guess it could be growing ON dung, i think it would be growing more in cultivated areas, like gardens and fertile soil...
