Inoculation guns

I was looking on mycosupply and noticed their inoculation guns. I don't really need one but I want one. Here's my problem, neither the plastic orrrrr stainless steel model are autoclavable.
So wtf? How would you reuse them a second time? Also they say to just drop the tubing into your lc, this seems sketch to me. I could understand if you had some sort of nipple on a jar to hook it to but just dropping it in doesn't sit well with me

I would think maybe you pump boiling water through. Hamloaf got the super duty metal one. Idk how he cleans it.

Well they say clean it with a water bath but this still doesn't seem real cool seeing as you're likely pumping sugary lc through it.

Have both guns from mycosupply. The water bath works great if you can cool your gun inside of the water in front of a flowhood. You'll need to fill the chamber with hot water just before placing the device (tube and all) into the water to boil. Running copious amounts of 91% iso is another effective way to clean these inoculation guns. The inoculation guns from mycosupply CANNOT be autoclaved.
Since discovering the inoc gun, an inoculation gun called Socorex has been found. Socorex is a Swiss manufacturer, AND their guns are autoclaveable. If had to do all over again, would have went with the Socorex solely due to the fact that the device can be autoclaved. However, had a great experience over at mycosupply which resulted in a free plastic inoculation gun, so no complaints from this side of the keyboard are had.
